Fireworks & Events:

• • Celebrate Freedom at Chesapeake City Park on Sunday, July 3rd - Chesapeake, VA.  The event is free to the public, but on-site parking is $5. Gates open at 6PM.  Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM.

• • Stars in the Sky at Victory Landing Park (50 25^th St.) on Monday, July 4th - Newport News, VA. This event begins at 7:00 p.m. with free children’s moon bounces & obstacle courses, free face painting, and the Tomcats Dixieland Band. Fireworks display starts at 9:15 p.m.

• • 4th of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks at Town point Park on Monday, July 4th - Norfolk VA. The event opens at 5 p.m. on the Fourth of July and is free and open to the public. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.

• • Suffolk Stars & Stripes at Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina on Monday, July 4th - Suffolk, VA - The fireworks show will begin at 9:00 p.m.

• • July 4^th Celebration at Mount Trashmore Park on Monday, July 4th - Virginia Beach, VA. Live music starts at 6:30 PM. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.

• • Stars & Stripes Celebration at the Oceanfront on Monday, July 4th - Virginia Beach, VA.  Music starts at 7:00 p.m.  The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.

• • Lights of Freedom in Colonial Williamsburg on on Monday, July 4th -  Williamsburg, VA. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.

• • Independence Day in Isle of Wight County at Heritage Park (Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds) on Sunday, July 3rd - Windsor, VA.

• • Independence Day Celebrations in Historic Yorktown on Monday, July 4th - Yorktown, VA. The events start at 8 a.m. and last until about 10 p.m. The fireworks show will begin at 9:15 p.m.
