May is Older Americans Month

Older drivers are seen as vulnerable road users and it is important that we remind drivers aged 65 and older to be proactive in practicing safe driving habits. May is Older Americans Month and the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is looking to spread messaging to engage and educate older adults about the importance of safe driving and planning for mobility beyond the driver’s seat.

Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 9:00am – 12:00pm, appointments every 30 minutes

Where:

Chesapeake Conference Center – 700 Conference Center Dr, Chesapeake, VA 23320
Enter on Sara Drive and look for the CarFit signs and workers in yellow vests.
