VA 2022-26 Strategic Highway Safety Plan Update Southwest Regional Meeting
September 14, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
VDOT is collaborating with highway safety partners at the Departments of Motor Vehicles, Health, Education, the Virginia State Police and other state, regional and local agencies and associations to update our Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP). The Arrive Alive-Virginia SHSP is a five-year, action-based plan working towards zero deaths and serious injuries on the Commonwealth’s transportation system. The actions engage the 5 Es of the highway safety community: Education, Enforcement, Emergency Response, Engineering and Planning, and Everyone to reduce the impact of crashes on the lives of those travelling in Virginia.
To gather ideas and input on strategies and actions to include in the Plan, we ask that you register and forward this email inviting your agency, regional and local safety 5E partners and stakeholders to participate in a virtual SHSP meeting.
