Fort Monroe -  20 Ingalls Road, Fort Monroe. A flag ceremony at 10 a.m. starts the day, which includes family fun, a concert by the Air Force Heritage of America “Blue Aces” Ensemble from Langley Air Force Base at 7 p.m., and fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Free. 757-637-7778, www. fmauthority.com.

Suffolk - Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina, 110 E. Constance Road. The fireworks begin at 9 p.m.  Free, except for vendors and a children’s area for ages 12 and younger, which is $5. Virginia Beach - Mount Trashmore Park, 310 Edwin Drive.  Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Food vendors on site. Note: Limited on-site parking, $10. Edwin Drive between Independence Boulevard and South Boulevardmay close. Expect delays. 4 to 10 p.m. Free event. buschgardens.com/williamsburg/events.

Colonial Williamsburg.  - Fireworks” at 9 p.m. Many activities require regular admission. Premium seating on the Palace Green is being sold for the fireworks, but they can be viewed from the area for free, as well as from Market Square and the lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. www.colonial williamsburg.com.
