Drive Safe Hampton Roads Teams up With Community Traffic
Safety Groups to Increase Seat Belt Use Among Teens

Twenty area high schools met the challenge to
increase seat belt use & decrease death & injury.

WHAT:

Join us for the 2022-2023 Get It Together High School Seat Belt Challenge Awards Breakfast.

WHEN:

Thursday, March 23, 2023, 7:30–8:30am, Registration 7:00am, Ted Constant Convocation Center, Big Blue Room, 4320 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23529.

WHY:

To reduce injuries and fatalities by increasing seat belt usage by students in Hampton Roads high schools.  Drive Safe Hampton Roads and their community partners will recognize participating area high schools.  Get It Together consists of a student driven education program and observational seat belt checks in school parking lots.  Drive Safe Hampton Roads joins with its community partners - AAA Tidewater Virginia, State Farm®, Christopher King Foundation, and the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles – as the sponsors of the Get It Together High School Seat Belt Challenge for the 2022–2023 school year.
