Drive Safe Members, Sponsors, Friends, and Potential Members,
For the past year, I have had the pleasure to serve as President of this outstanding organization. Drive Safe Hampton Roads thrives upon the dedication of so many volunteers and sponsors to help promote transportation safety. This past year, our collective accomplishments would not have been possible without your continuing efforts. As we enter the summer travel season, we are well aware that many of the things we constantly bring to the Public’s awareness, such as distracted driving, impaired driving, and reckless driving behavior, increase during this period as more people hit the roadways. As I have mentioned frequently, all too often we hear of incidents that could have been prevented had safe driving habits and practices been followed. Our work is far from being done!
As I pass the gavel to Larry Montgomery, I’m confident the incoming officers will continue to move this organization along in its quest to be the reliable and efficient promotor of traffic safety in the Hampton Roads area. Again, I thank everyone for allowing me to serve as your President this past year.
