Don’t rely on luck, if you plan to celebrate, include a plan for a sober ride home. Drive Safe Hampton Roads urges drivers to remember that impaired driving is deadly and never an option. There is never an excuse to drive under the influence. Use Drive Safe Hampton Roads’ 757 Sober Ride by visiting www.drivesafehr.org

Celebrate responsibly by choosing 757 Sober Ride or designating a driver before drinking. Remember,” Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving” and impaired driving crashes and the injuries and deaths associated with them are 100% preventable! “Driving impaired is simply unacceptable.” said Brian Hennessy, Chair, Drive Safe Hampton Roads’ Impaired Driving Prevention Committee. “Plan ahead of time for a sober designated driver or take advantage of the 757 Sober Ride program before the game begins. That way you can enjoy the game and all the fun it holds rather than risk arrest or worse, an impaired driving related crash injury or fatality.”
Supporters of the 2026 757 Sober Ride campaigns are Huffman & Huffman Brothers-in-Law and funded in part by a grant from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
DSHR asks the media not to post the campaign’s promo codes online, but to link to the Drive Safe Hampton Roads’ website (www.drivesafehr.org).
