- Celebrate Freedom at Chesapeake City Park on Friday, July 3rd – Chesapeake, VA. The event is free to the public, but on-site parking is $10 (cash only). Paid Parking Begins 4PM. Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM.
- Stars Over Hampton at Mill Point Park in downtown Hampton on Saturday, July 4th – Hampton, VA. The free event starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Instead of a fireworks show, a drone show will light up the night sky at 9 p.m.
- Stars in the Sky Celebration at Victory Landing Park on Saturday, July 4th Newport News, VA. This event begins at 6:00 p.m. with live musical performances and strolling entertainers in red, white and blue. Fireworks display starts at 9:15 p.m.
- 4th of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks at Town point Park on Saturday, July 4th – Norfolk, VA. The event opens at 5 p.m. on the Fourth of July and is free and open to the public. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.
- Annual Shaggin’ 4th of July Celebration at Portsmouth Waterfront on Saturday, July 4th – Portsmouth, VA – The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.
- Suffolk Stars & Stripes at Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina on Saturday, July 4th – Suffolk, VA – The fireworks show will begin at 9:00 p.m.
- July 4th Celebration at Mount Trashmore Park on Saturay, July 4th – Virginia Beach, VA. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.
- Stars & Stripes Celebration at the Oceanfront on Saturday, July 4th – Virginia Beach, VA. Multiple live performances on oceanfront park stages. Music starts at 7:00 p.m. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.
- Independence Day Celebrations in Historic Yorktown on Saturday, July 4th – Yorktown, VA. The fireworks show will begin at 9:15 p.m.
